 Pitman Witness The Pitness 7"

Hold on tight, the manic miner is back and this time he’s chewing all over arguably the standout track from Mr Manuva’s second long player ‘Run come save me’. Once again out on white label 7 inch, the shy and retiring Pitman gets stuck in on the dis tip. Adam F (“you found out Alvin Stardust was your dad, so fuck off to the states and kiss some arse.”) and The Streets (“not like The Streets who talks like a cockney, aren’t you from Birmingham you knob, you get me?) step up and get yours.

Full of swearing, carry on style filth and very British references; sex with the Crankies, bog rolls and Tetley tea, Pitman is hardly high art, but he is bloody funny and gives a scene that can take itself a little too seriously a good (coal covered) kick up the arse.

I’m not writing any more – go and buy a copy.
