 Natural Self The Sound 7"

slept on the review of this one for a while but there's still copies out and about there (or from disorda) but Breakin Bread dropped this little funky gem in between their hiphop 12s that have probably attracted more of your attention

jumping ship from tru thoughts to breakin bread Natural Self (who's already released on the label as Keno 1) conjures up a clapping bass rolling noodly horn jazzy groove, an instrumental soundtrack to a 70s car chase waiting to happen. The flip track 'Foundation' brings the jungle bongos and mixes with horn stabs and slurps to fine effect, reminds me of some of ninja tune's jazzier releases, which can only be a compliment

Natural Self's got lots of material coming on BB this year so get there ahead of the game and pick up this wicked little two tracker...
