Brighton based crew 12" Matter emerge on the scene with their first release, ironically a 7" record on Evil Ed's Hidden Identity productions label. The single entitled 'Sunshine Coast' sees Slugga Tee alongside guest emcee Montague swapping verses about the alternative lifestyle of the seaside resort that isnt always the most friendliest of places to visit. 'Bring your bucket and spade and loose change for the arcade/ What you want?Ice cream or class a's?' is just one of the tongue in cheek lines that Slugga boasts as he flows effortlessly over the gritty beat made by producers Edit & Medici with cuts from DJ Bitterfingaz. Montague comes with a more aggy, pissed off sound to his views on everyday life which doesnt fail to impress. The b-side features a remix of the track by Evil Ed himself using he's trademark jazzy samples which somehow give the tune a slightly more sadistic, angry style to the track.
