Aerosolik continues to maintain its tradition of releasing artists from every corner of the UK with this debut four-track release from a Plymouth-based five piece. Producer Herb Boy has created a set of starkly diverse beats for the three emcees Milestone, Macca and eXL. The highlight of the platter is opening track ‘Whoa Now’ where the chunky production works underneath short sharp verses give the punch needed to catch your ear. None of the emcees sound flabby and the musical arrangement is solid and taut but the other tracks suffer from a lack of direct cohesion. As a result they don’t grab and hold your attention. Overall - the sound of a crew searching for the right blend.
