Ty is the man at the moment, especially with his live band running things on the live circuit. This remix of his “Oh You Want More” cut from the “Upwards” album comes with two bonuses, a bona fide Roots Manuva guest spot, which sounds great and a complete musical reworking. Gone are the melodic steel pans and now its been replace with a Bollywood sample. The sound du jour, the Bollywood female vocalist and string combo, has done wonders for Eric Sermon, Missy Elliot and R. Kelly. This one works well because of the strength of the sample source material it uses. This is definitely worth picking up.
