 Blufoot If You Forget 12"

Blufoot‘s “Ablution“ LP is one album I‘ve been waiting for all year and this is a small taster, featuring MI5 on one side and Mystro and Yungblud on the other. “If You Forget” features MI5 and Jargon proves to be one bossy fucker on it. Starting off with ordering Blufoot on how to programme the bassline, proceeding to then call out and order all his MI5 posse about on the hook, by getting them to step in time, like an S1W type situation. The beat Blu gives them is a nice circus big top type beat with comedic but menacing potential. Jargon proves himself to be an excellent MC setting out MI5’s mission statement and permeating it with a whole heap of scathing and brilliant put-downs and punchlines. It’s easy to see why Jargon and Mystro call themselves the Natural Born Spittaz. Cos he is natural. It is a wicked track.

The flip features Blu gives Mystro and Yungblud another circus-type beat, but this time, it’s the acrobats of wordplay that are given the twisting trumpets to rhyme around. “Remember the Name”, like the flip is another Blufoot banger. Yungblud proves himself to be a great rapper and Mystro once again shows the world why he can take the best of them on with his truly diligent effortless and amazing mic duties.

If these tracks are anything to go by, Blufoot’s LP will be amazing. A gift for spotting great MC’s and giving them bangers of beats to get on, Blufoot is ready to take over.
