Alaye Mind My Creps 12" When I read the press release for this track, I read a comment from Big Timmy Westwood which said “the hottest joint I’ve heard from the UK in years”. Whilst this has always been the kiss of death for me, for once I’d have to agree with the Beeb man. Ok, maybe not the hottest track in years, but this track is HUGE! ‘Mind My Creps’ is a rowdy, witty ode to whiter than white trainers, dropped over thick electro-organ production. There is no doubt this is aimed at getting a club moving, but in honesty this is just a great track wherever it’s heard, from car to bedroom. Kind of like an ‘Ante Up’ for UK heads, this will have some seriously wide appeal. If Alaye comes this correct on the regular, then be sure to keep your ears to the streets!
