Supar Novar Reppin 12" Kemet have got a busy ‘06 ahead of them release wise, with label old boy Supar Novar preparing to drop his album ‘From The Beginning’ this year. ‘Reppin’ is a good way to get the buzz-ball rolling with a tidy little cut. The production by Show ‘N’ Prove is slow paced, but still very energetic with headnodability of a perfect 10 and Supar Novar blesses it with his raw style. The flip ‘Get Ready For War’ is a better complete track though and Novar displays more energy and lyrical prowess throughout. The rowdy chorus is likely to catch on nicely too, which is always the sign of a track with longevity. Both tracks offer some multiple play appeal and although they fall short of being immense, neither will fade into your collection unnoticed.
