 Braintax Run The Yards 12"

Braintax is finally back after a five years hiatus, and this first single from the new ‘Panorama’ album shows that he means business. A lot may have changed since ‘Byro Funk’ dropped back in 2001 but Braintax hasn’t lost his ability to do what he wants, do it well and reap the benefits from it.
‘Run the Yards’ sees Beat Butcher on production with an un-quantized, slurry beat over which the UK’s hardest working hip hop man drops incisive, clever lyrics. ‘Last Tenner’ has Braintax on the buttons and mic, a more relaxed affair about going out to the club and spending the last of your money on having a good time, something which as a fan we’ve all done more than once.
There’s no doubt Joe Christie is back and still very much one of the UK’s finest, so run and cop this now before the album lands.
