Big Cakes Holla At The Girls 12" Ok, this is on some bashy tip which is luverly in time for summer (if we get one this year). Most people seem to get more cynical in there old age, but I seem to find myself regressing back to Hiphop’s roots and wanting something I can get down to. This may not be a classic Hiphop party cut, never that, but it does feel like it’s older brother rather than the bastard cousin, which much of Hiphop nowadays is. With it’s bouncy Neptunes-esque synth production and Cakes’ simple but enjoyable lyrics, this is a total no brainer.
