Swift It Major X Factor 12"
This isn’t quite about what it may seem, it’s more about wack crews, than 14 year old gay boys breaking down in tears after a brutal reality check from old high trousers himself. Still, with lines like “You sound like Chico”, you don’t have to look far to find some nice little references.
Produced by Jay’O, who’s worked with some big UK names before, this is some bouncy two-step business, proper jolly. Unfortunately it’s also a bit repetitive and ultimately annoying. Swift It Major does his bit by dropping some fairly solid verses, but there’s no shying away that this release is throwaway.
There’s certainly enough within this single to suggest Swift It has something to offer in the future, but this doesn’t cut it, especially in today’s throw away society.
