 Bashy Black Boy 12"

When you pen a track that’s essentially bigging up anyone in the music industry for the colour of their skin, it needs to be done well right? I mean there’s a huge scope to balls it up and sound like an idiot. “Black Boys” by Bashy is set to coincide with Black History Month and it certainly name drops every positive Black role model in the UK. The key to it though, is that it’s simply a really heavy track. Bashy does more than just name drop and skilfully crafts several verses together. The beat is something of beauty too and whilst it is quite Garage twinged, it’s still hits all the necessary buttons.

With a remix in the pipeline that will include some of the UK’s leading talent dropping verses, I think you’ll be hearing this track a fair bit. Get used to it.
