Second release from Camshot and it’s a fucking blinder! Mystro & Blufoot return for their first joint release since Raw Materials 2, and this single comes with three tracks of their goodness so your getting value. “Open-Mic” has Mystro paying homage to the open mic session that we all love so much, what’s amazing is his energy on the mic has you feeling like it could be live. There’s nothing better than an emcee that sounds like he’s enjoying himself, rather than trying to make everyone depressed about the world today. Blufoots production reflects the pure energy coming off Mystro, they work together incredibly. This track truly brings a grin to my face, plus I’d love to see it performed live. “Keep Smiling” seems fit as the next track, due to the fact I was smiling by the time I got to it. Not as good as “Open-Mic” but still full of energy and a great mix of head nodding beats with some smooth flows. The theme carries to the final track “The Burial ‘99”, finishing off a most satisfying 12”. This record is damn near essential people, get it!
