The second 12" off the BT album, 'P.L.S.' is a right cracker. My heart sank when I heard it'd had a soulful reworking featuring a swing vocalist (Lynden David Hall). It really works though. They haven't gone swing or anythin - this is no R'n'B nightmare. Hall's well-delivered vocals are sparingly used. Thinking about it, this was never going to be cheesey with lyrics like "round my way ... there's no lane for lovers, only back streets with used rubbers...". So - don't be put off. This is wicked. Plus, expect a release soon featuring a wicked re-working of 'Shoosh'. The remix features Skinny Man (Mud Family) and Skeme, as well as some others, and you just know it's going to be outrageously good.
